I'm getting ready to put up a public UT 2k4 server.

What kind of game would you like to play the most?

I'd love to play some more Air Bucs, but I can't fathom that working over the intarweb; it was hard enough with all of us in the same room yelling out instructions to each other.

I played it pretty much all day sunday and its not near as bad as I thought it would be. It's actually pretty easy, and the new patch lets the cannon aimer see whats being loaded into the cannon, etc, so it's easier to aim different stuff...

those mutators seem to give the best gameplay and the most fun... man, those few games we played at the lan, especially that last one, were fucking insanely intense.

I honestly love those mutators as well. A lot of times you hear people saying that this mutator combo makes it too easy, too childish, to this and too that...

I say f*ck that. It makes it very nerv racking in my opinion, and I actually get a little adreinalin rush when I play a server with these mutes. So it makes killing super easy, and getting all the powerups simple, it makes the whole thing more exciting, IMHO.

Dont get me wrong, I love it normally, but every now and then, I get a good rush out of these mutes.

Set it up as Air Bucs (we need all the AB servers we can get) and give us admin to it (well some of us....) so we can clear out the fucktards.

If it was an air bucs server, I'd surely play on it. So yeah, if I was admin or not... don't matter, but I know I'll be playing this mod from now on here and there, it's interesting enought to keep my attention for a while I feel.

Ok, hows this as far as the server goes. I'm going to give a few guys privs to change gametype ect. A couple of them will even have more extensive privs then that. I'm sending PMs to those people here in a few. Give me a week to have the server up. I'm still dicking around with getting it up and running UT without any probs. Everytime I start the server this particular file gets corrupted, and I can't start the server again until that file is replaced. I'm hoping they release a fix for this soon.
