The big factor for me is how the game "feels". So few racing games get it right. TOCA Race Driver and Shift both had a great feel and are two of my favorite drivers I've played. This one might be the next in the list if it lives up to the hype.

Sevnn, this is a proper sequel to Shift. Same devs as the original Shift. It feels like a more refined, slightly more true-sim version of Shift.

Oh I hope it works out to be that. Shift had AMAZING feel but was just a little too arcade for me. That is what I loved about TOCA Race Driver but it wasn't supported well and Codemasters follow ups didn't hit the mark.
