The BB code is picky, and only works with the a actual page URL, not the re-direct that the share tab gives. And no, the top (address bar) URL NEVER appears in the way you've been using it, that only comes into play on the share tab. When someone uses the share link in a browser, the browser corrects it on page load.

I was using Chrome in the example above, which when copy&pasting the URL will add the protocol to the front, and it needs it in order to work with the BB-code, but if you're logged into a personal YouTube account you'll need to correct from "https://" to "http://" manually. Like I said, it's picky, and it needs it as old school as URL's come to display it correctly.

When I load up YT though it is an https link - think the S may be the issue?
