Though consoles have something to do with it, it's more a matter of lazy devs in my mind. They could hit 60fps if they just dropped to 720p instead of 900p. The XBone is actually the limiting factor here, the PS4 can handle more (probably still not 1080@60), but they're shitting on the PS4 version to avoid pissing off one group.

HOPEFULLY the PC version won't have the stupid limitations.

I would be down for some 4 play coop if the game doesn't suck. Hesitant to put in $60 to try it out but would if we could for sure organize something.

I love it, but I don't love it enough for a $60 price tag, especially when it comes out the same month as https://www.origin.com/en-us/store/buy/dragon-age-inquisition/pc-download/base-game/standard-edition. I usually buy them when they hit a decent steam sale. This month, sorry Brules, but my gaming budget is gone gone gone. Next month maybe. I certainly like 4 player coop. Which reminds me, Brules, you should try Warframe if you haven't yet. All that said, this would be my choice over Call Of Annual Moneygrab any day; just out of principle.

Info I've seen so far indicates a pretty shit port. I may get it eventually, but I'm in no hurry. Still have to finish AC4.

Yup, looks like I'll be waiting for a sale if I even get it. Reviews are pretty mediocre from sources that I trust. Some of the shitty sites are giving it great scores, but the not so shitty ones aren't overly impressed with it. Not bad, just more of the same.

Just look at the usual sites. The REVIEWS are mostly in the 7ish range. Calling it average/good but not great. The problem is that a lot of the reviewing sites have since added other articles talking about various issues. Such as: http://www.ign.com/blogs/jdavisign/2014/11/11/8-real-things-i-experienced-in-assassins-creed-unity/ The Steam reviews are also hilariously bad, there are nearly twice as many negative reviews over positive.

It's also come out that the review copies had the microtransaction system disabled. Hiding the fact that the MT currency ranges up to $100 and can be used to shortcut MP and SP content. Like So

There are even chests in game that can't be opened without being online, the game will throw a connection error for opening a chest. And there are a lot of them.

So basically, unless they do some major damage control, I probably won't touch this unless it magically ends up going on a 90% sale.
