And this is why people complain about govt incompetence. They are trying to get somebody to do a $125k job for only $69k. So, who's left that will take the $69k?
We ran into the same problem at the FAA. Woefully underpaid. The argument was always "But the benefits are better!". No, not really. My current job pays much better and has WAY better benefits that what I had at the FAA.

From what I've seen in general on Indeed, the salary is pretty typical for the OKC area. $125K would be way too much for the duties.
