WTB: Netbook or small laptop
I'm just looking for something to run diagnostics on my car with. It doesn't need to be fast but I'd prefer small. Anybody have anything floating around that they're not using anymore? Not looking to spend a ton.
I have a few laptops I'm not using Menos. I'll bring a few and you can pick from them. I'll cut you a good deal too. See you at the LAN. _________________ Blargle Flarg Bergah Merg

I have a OLD Asus EEE 900 netbook. It only runs linux and has limited storage. It does have a SD slot though.

I really need something that runs windows decently as the diag tool I'm needing to use only has drivers for windows. Do you think it could run XP?

Ive toyed with XP on it in the past. The real limitation is its real tiny SSD of 4 gigs.
If you plan on going the Windows route then you will have to invest in a SD card to go with it. Finding drivers for it these days might be a pain as well. _________________ CPU : Core i5 3570K

Mine came with Windows XP home, but it has the same sort of limitation. The on-board SSD has 2 parts to it, even though it's one device, and they are actual seperated parts, not partitions of the same space. The system drive is 4GB, the other's size I cannot recall offhand apart from knowing it was significantly larger. But that said, the large part was also significantly slower than the system part. I ran XP pro on it, with a copy I bought after the fact. So i know that they ca. That said the system part is almost completely full once Pro is on there. Which causes it's own issues. _________________ Advocating the end of the world since July 1995.
