Meh, It's COD. Still going to be a few years before we play another one, I think. I, personally, don't think they've made enough changes to the game since COD4 to justify the purchase. That said, I did buy World at War and the original Black Ops. *shrug* It's just that with their "game each year" business model, it's more like they churn out the same game every year with a few new maps, a couple different weapons, and a new perk here or there. _________________ Advocating the end of the world since July 1995.

Also planning on getting it. At this point the Treyarch CoDs are the only good ones. The gunplay and such may be the same old, but they at least come up with interesting maps that aren't tiny, fun perks/killstreak mechanics (C4 on an RC car woo) and generally don't suck.

Thats pretty much how I feel. BLOPS2 is the first COD to get my attention since COD 4. They are doing some real interesting stuff with the multiplayer this time out. _________________ CPU : Core i5 3570K

Fun, though a little annoyed that Treyarch jumped on the matchmaking only bandwagon.

Player cap is 16 i believe with a max of 8 in a party for match making. We can run our own custom games and go over that cap if need be. _________________ CPU : Core i5 3570K

That site was designed for "normal" people. Guys like us don't apply. _________________ CPU : Core i5 3570K

You know darn good and well, we're not playing it on console here. Though, that does go a long way toward explaining why you haven't been to a LAN in the last 5 years. _________________ Advocating the end of the world since July 1995.

Yeah. I switched to consoles some time ago. Not that I like it more but I get so sick and tired of looking at a computer screen that its nice to sit back and use a console. _________________ It's just me..

I can understand that on some level. But in my house there's an Xbox, and a laptop connected to the living room TV. It's nice playing Street Fighter X Tekken without load times. _________________ Advocating the end of the world since July 1995.

As an addendum... it'll be nice when Valve releases their steam-box. That'll be about the time to replace that laptop. _________________ Advocating the end of the world since July 1995.
