I know it sounds cliche, but 18 years is going to FLY by dude... and then they can't wait to get out. Its normal no matter what kind of parent you are, but its painful the first time. At least it has been for me. So as odd as it sounds, cherish the coming years and record as many memories as you can, and spend every moment you can with them, cuz time waits for no man. You'll always be their dad, but they won't always be your babies. Babies grow up into adults and lives of their own. Just have to be there for them.

OK, I didn't mean to be depressing there, hehehe. Just sharing. TMI?
