Orcs Must Die 2

Who else is playing this? I had the first one and played it for an hour or so before I put it up. #2 however has completely consumed me. It is better than Sanctum and has worked its way into my top 10 games of all time. The game play is polished, the difficulty scales well, they are already releasing DLC, and it is just a blast to play. If you are on the fence, get it, you won't regret it.

I was/am a big fan of Sanctum but there aren't enough maps and while I do like the "build your own path" concept, that does get boring. OMD2 has some aspects of mob routing, it is not a necessary component of normal game play. The ability to kite mobs, have mobs that break down into smaller chunks, have your own AI characters, many more turret types, and a more over-time upgrade path, gives OMD2 a much longer path of play and it doesn't get thin or boring.

Def a blast. Great castle defense style game that is a lot more frenetic than Sanctum.

I just finished level 40 of endless on tunnels and I'm so shaking I can't play another round. Just typing this post is difficult. What an unbelievably good game.
