we had a pretty active one 10 years ago. 60+ person lans.... Those were the days..... Sad

ELG used to pull 100+ once a month. It was fun but running it was nearly a full time job that burned out the 2 guys who tried it. Most of the attendees were teenagers who didn't appreciate the efforts of the admins. Those guys played nothing but CS until the tournaments were done and their moms came to pick them up.

The 50 - 60 that we pulled consistently at Shepard Mall in the early days was a blast though. I still remember the BF:DC tournament where I was chasing Shinobi in a chopper and trying to blow up his M1A1. I can't remember for sure what game was the prize (might have been a copy of HALO) but it all came down to 1 or 2 more rockets landed and we would have won instead of this team. Watching his tank slowly drive across the map while my rockets reloaded still haunts me...
