FYI, If you haven't bought BF3 yet, it's $29.99 today only (Black Friday, as it were) on Origin.
It won't include "Back to Karkand" maps, but the ship has sailed for not having to purchase that as an add-on.

For $29.99 I would hope people would be able to get over having to buy the map later.
