Hard to say. I went from a gtx 285 to a 480 and nearly doubled my frame rate in some games.

If you are just talking about the speed of the memory and gpu, there may be other archictectural differences that may also increase performance.

I know the GTX 460 performs noticeably better than my 285 did.

Get a 460 for cheap, then snag a 2nd one at some point for SLI.......

I dropped out last night because my power supply is dying. I've got everything unplugged now except the cpu cooler, so maybe I'll be able to play untill the new one shows up I dunno.

I had a lot of fun playing with you guys. I don't think Vince will ever get into a helicopter with me again though

You were kitted as heavy weapons with a M249 or similar, going prone and unleashing pure rape. As soon as we'd respawn, you'd mow us down easily. That was one of the funniest moments in OKGG history for me, and yes, your memory serves correct. The game didn't have great tools for admin so that didn't help. I did get you kicked eventually. IIRC, you were able to rejoin and continue to rage. I either figured out how to ban you or pulled your net cable, pretty sure it was the former. Once I realized what was happening I do remember laughing so hard I was in tears.
