Quitters.
I've lightened up quite a bit myself. I've still not quit. Though, I feel that is coming soon. I'm finding that the few smokes I do have are less and less enjoyable. _________________ Blargle Flarg Bergah Merg

For me the first week was shitty. After that for about a year I would get the craving every now and then (especially if someone walked by and smelled of smoke) and I just had to remind myself that smoking = teh suck and thats how I used to smell (and look) all the time.
I guess my biggest motivation for quitting was actually for my son who has asthma and even me smelling of smoke (I never smoked in the house) was enough to aggravate him. But I tell you what. After a couple of months I felt so much better, and I don't get sick as often and I don't think I've gotten bronchitis once since quitting. (Used to be a yearly thing that would knock me out for at least a week)
I know from experience that whenever a friend, a family member, or even a doctor told me that I would physically feel so much better after quitting that I just wanted to punch them in the face every time. But it really is the truth. It just takes time for your body to recover, and to lose the addiction. _________________ For with what measure you measure it will be measured to you.

Shinare when you smell it now do you crave or hate it? My dad used to smoke, but now he is like hyper sensitive to it and hates it. _________________ K-SWISS Power cologne. Who knew you could bottle the scent of boner?

[quit for son]
[feel much better]
For me I was craving the first day, but I just hunkered down and didn't go outside unless it was to go to and fro from work. But for me I never really liked smoking cigarettes. It was easy to quit. I had a hungry feeling in my stomach the first few days but it went away. On day #3 I was in an elevator with a guy who smoked and he absolutely reeked.
I quit because my daughter was due to be born on Christmas day, and I quit Nov 2nd 2007. I grew up with parents who were smokers and I did not want my kids to have to deal with that.
As far as feeling better, I don't really know. I'm just glad I don't smoke.
Burles I personally dislike the smell.

Just so you guys know how much better it is for you to stop smoking:
Life insurance rates drop by 50-80% when you are smoke free for over 12 months. They are pretty damn good at knowing when you will die so use that info however you want. _________________ I7 2600K

I guess its been long enough that the smell doesn't bother me much one way or the other. I do still enjoy the smell of a good pipe although I never smoked one. _________________ For with what measure you measure it will be measured to you.
