Hey guys, just signed up for next weekend's LAN. This will official be my first real, organized LAN party to attend (not including a few guys setting up their PC's at a buddies house), so I'm looking forward to it.

I am curious though, how does it usually work with deciding what game to play and who is playing what? I have a decent amount of games, but if everyone is playing Need for Speed: Shift, I guess I could play WoW or something...

Prepare to be harassed if you play WoW.

I run a net sniffer at the lans that steals all wow accounts.

Battlefield Bad Company 2 has been the usual round for quite a few months now.....and usually we form a consensus on what to play or compromise....

For instance last LAN....some people played starcraft 2 while others enjoyed NFS Shift....Its nothing serious in organization....after all it is all about having fun

Indeed, what to play isn't necessarily organized before hand. It is normally a general consensus. Though some sand may come out if you play wow at the LAN.

Sand mainly comes from the direction of Drix, and Plunk plays WoW pretty much every LAN anyways so it's not too bad.
