Air Compressor!
Anyone interested in bringing an air compressor to the LAN this month and being super awesome by helping me expel all the dust out of Cobalt? I took a look through the top of the radiator last night and it is caked on like crazy and the machine has only breathed life for a few months
Anyways, figure this is a long shot but since I don't have another recourse without tearing it down and cleaning it by hand I figured I would ask. SOMEONE HELP ME! _________________ Failure is just success rounded down.

I do mine at 7-Eleven. Free air compressor usage there.

Take the side of the case off of it and strap it to the side of your car and go 80mph down the road, _________________ "You will need to change more than your IP Address, you will need to change your panties after I get done with you."

Nooooooooooooooooooooo! I may take you up on that offer if I don't get this sucker cleaned before then, and I will reward you with thousands of flavors of Linux ISOs!
Speaking of, going to be bringing about 6tb worth of Linux to share if anyone else was considering bringing some of their own to share or space to fill. _________________ Failure is just success rounded down.

I have a small bench airbrush compressor I could bring. I'm not sure how effective it will be, but it is very small.

I suppose I should say that I don't want to put anyone out here, it's not a dire situation or anything. Hell, the damn thing is watercooled and I'm not even running it OC'ed right now so I've turned 5 of the fans completely off.
That said, what I'm going to need is something that is powerful enough to blow out caked dust through a radiator, fans and mesh on top of that. _________________ Failure is just success rounded down.

I use a paintbrush for removing caked dust, then just canned air to clean it up. It works well, and as long a the bristles aren't too stiff, it won't hurt anything.

Well, the problem is the layering of it all. The top of the case is mesh, and has a bit of dust in it that can be brushed away easily, the fans themselves are not too bad on dust underneath that but then the radiator below has the dust caked on on the top, under the fans and the top of the case. The underside of the radiator is relatively clean.
I may just take LC's advice and hit up 7-11 but do you bring an attachment or what? _________________ Failure is just success rounded down.

I can bring the Air Compressor to the August LAN and then offer Blowjobs to everyone's computer while it's there _________________ Core I7 4790K @ 4.7 Ghz

I have a portable air tank I can bring that would do the trick. If not we can run over to my house and use the compressor there, it's two miles from the LAN... _________________ Technology Unlimited * www.techunl.net * (405) 773-6037 * [email protected]

So, to reiterate, Goahed will be providing free blow jobs to everyone at this month's LAN. _________________ Failure is just success rounded down.

A yard blower actually works pretty well to dusting out computers.
