I know many of you enjoyed Tribes back in the day. This is the closest thing i've found to that in a recent game.

This feels like a mix of Tribes and Planetside's 'skill' system. If you want more info check out the youtube vids and/or give me a holler on steam.

steam name - verosst

It looks pretty awesome I have to say. Too bad Kyle is leading a boycott on HardForum against it, although who the hell knows whether that will have any measurable effect on it.

way too many games coming out between now and the end of March. BFBC2, and Supcom2 are the next couple I have my eyes on. maybe after that. One has to be somewhat choosy @ 60 bucks a pop.

Too bad his boycott if due to resolution issues, and not the actual game itself. I stopped going to the H a long time ago due to kyle.

The non-pay portion of this game is very fun. I don't see a reason to pay at the moment and in fact they have delayed any mmo-pay type stuff for another month or so.

Maybe they will have a free trial so people can try it out first.

Looking alot better now that it's shifting away from the subscription based fees and onto DLC basically.

EDIT: Also looks like there's a free trial on Steam as well which I wasn't aware of.

i'd recommend BC2 and L4D2 over this, but it still can be fun.
