It does pass audio over HDMI.

I have the xfire part, the extra power adapter, the red-blue-green dongle, the HDMI adapter (you have to use the ATI one for audio over hdmi; regular dvi to hdmi don't pass sound), and the disk.

I upgraded to a new geforce GTX 275 and don't need this one any more.

Well I feel bad now, I saw this post right after you put it up and promptly forgot about it. Then last night I bought a pair of 4870 512mb cards
