How are the kids? My daughter as almost 4. By the way Menos, you are invited to my LAN this weekend if you are interested. Probably a whole lot of Q3 will be going on. Send me an email at [email protected] for info.

You bastard.

It turns out that I didn't get the turnout I was hoping for at my LAN. Only about 9 guys showed. Huhntanzer failed to show and the OKGG assault lost steam. We shall make another run at it soon hopefully.

I tried, but it doesn't support proxies.

I've played quakelive while tunnelling all Internet traffic over ssh.

I will try it again.

I tunnel everything over SSH as well but it seemed last time that quakelive ignored the settings.

Mac, Windows or Linux?

I did it on my mac. I've not tried in linux as the only linux machine I use that isn't a server is my desktop at work, and I don't have a need to tunnel out of that as that is the machine I tunnel into. Smile

Linux

So it still ignored the proxy settings of FF...but I noticed it had picked up the settings of KDE/Gnome or something.

It didn't work after tinkering but something I did at some point made it work. I think it picked up authentication from Konqueror at some point or something.
