Regardless of how people interpret it, I am just curious to know how you guys feel about the right to own guns for personal defense and for sport use. I am talking about legal, registered weapons.

I just want to know how people around here think about them.

Only scenario I think one should be barred from owning a firearm is a convicted violent felon.

Very Happy Kids 'n all... I know I was able to easily thwart my dad's efforts to keep his firearms locked up. I was lucky I didn't kill myself or anyone else. While I have kids in the house, there'll be no guns.

Who voted "Ban all guns"???? I would love to have a discussion with that person. I am facinated by people who think gun bans solve anything.

If you don't want to post here, pm me. I just want to try to understand what makes people think a gun ban is a good thing.

As to the DC Police thing. SCREW THAT! Hitler thought that was a good idea too....
