Steam Streaming is now a go!

So steam updated their beta client today to include streaming to friends and steam users logged in through steam and on their browsers.

Here's a list of random people streaming on steam view able from the client or the web.

Lain and me were testing it out apparently pretty much anything that outputs as video can be streamed, Snes, PSP, even VLC and PLex, when run trough steam.

Valve just let the floodgates open, porn and many things are being streamed apparently. GabeN have mercy

i don't like that I cannot set it to "do not broadcast" or "broadcast". I know I can just not invite people to watch and it shouldn't stream but I don't trust it.

Gonna wait for a bit on this I guess.
