I vote Blu to play Khan from his set up, the rest of you play the Enterprise from another location.

Epic battle will ensue.

No Sevnn, it's Indie, and hasn't really been around long enough for anyone to heavily mod it. As for stations. It looks like we have 6 or more interested, and 6 is the number of total stations (communications, sensors, weapons, helm, engineering, and captain). I don't think it's meant to have one person controlling multiple stations... but we can see about that, if need be, when we run it. I do know that some on their forums were talking about having played Bridge vs Bridge, so apparently Multiple human controlled ships in the same game is possible. Course we'd need around 12 for that.

They say 3-6 people, so there is some allowance in there for leaving off stations.

I think in my setup if we could run "helm" on 2 computers, that would give the helm operator both side by side portrait touch screens, and other similar 2 computer per "station" setups.

Is there any implication that you can run the visual on multiple machines pointed at different angles for the wrap around?

Another thing in the back of my mind is trying it after we get equipment to start building our 2nd room that is similar to that one. If we did it during setup (and not during "use"), it would be more flexible in configuration.

Galaxy Quest has been in the rotation on TV a couple times this week, I found that particularly funny given this thread. Shinare, I think the red/blonde hair girl is part of the Rev3 crew and not sure about the Vulcan chick.

Drix: that wasn't a question but a statement that there are mods out there. They are pretty basic and look like they take a bunch of tweaking but here is one: http://www.artemis.eochu.com/?page_id=28#/20110720/star-trek-tmp-mod-737587/

She's no Morgan Webb from the "Screensavers" days.... Hell, she's no current Morgan Webb. Wink *schwing*

Edit: Two bridges either co-op or BvB would be awesome, and may even get me outta my gaming funk i've been in for the last several years. This looks REALLY REALLY cool.

They just released version 2.0 of this. I does have a bridge license, though iOS and android updates are not yet live. ...still, that wouldn't stop us from running this some time. The new one has improved multi-ship and PvP setups.

If we have enough interest, I'd like to try it this weekend (@ the August LAN). ...again if there is enough interest.

We could possibly do this on a seperate day at my office off of Bdwy and Wilshire. Has a conference room with U shaped table and a projector for on the wall......and I have 2-3 spare 17" monitors and a few 23's as well up there......just a thought.

I would recommend that book for people who enjoy humorous sci fi books, as well as all other Scalzi books, regardless of Star Trek status.

Just finished book 8 in B. V. Larson's Star Force Series, and have enjoyed this series immensely as well.

I wish Larson would write faster, I am loving Star Force series.

And BTW - you missed some epic Artemis yesterday at the LAN. It's a blast.....we may do a seperate LAN at my office and play this with dedicated screens and projectors. I think it would work.
