I think your card problem occurred before the data breach on PSN.

Thats what Sony says anyway. It really seems suspicious that my card gets stolen and now Sony is saying that a few days after that happened that CC info was stolen off their network. Sony hasn't been very forthright with its info on this matter, I don't expect them to start now.
Its my personal opinion that they were compromised before that and they only just caught the problem then. Will they be completely transparent with the security firm's findings, I doubt it.
Anyway, all PSN users are encouraged to immediately change their passwords once the network is back up and take action regarding their identity. I've already notified the credit reporting agencies of my potential identity theft as well as changed every password I have for anything out there. _________________ For with what measure you measure it will be measured to you.

The interesting thing is, this wouldn't have happened, or would have been much more delayed if Sony hadn't turned off Other OS. _________________ Blargle Flarg Bergah Merg

Shins the CC data hasn't been sold yet. Safe to say the two are unrelated.
