I'm in dire need of a document management system. Our office will be going paperless very soon and that will require a few issues be covered when we do this.
Issue: We will be moving all paper products (claims, private information, etc) to an electronic copy (pdf).
Needs:
- Scan documents with our konica minolta all-in-one ancient big printer thingy.
- searchable
- private/lockable
- able to rename/change/view/go-to the document
- i prefer cheap or open source since i'm paying for this myself.

Thanks for the help/comments in advance. _________________ I7 2600K

We use docuware at work, but it is far from cheap. It works very very well though.

We actually use it where I work. So you can be sure that it scales well.
