Do NOT like 45 style pistols for anything other than open carry in a proper holdter or range shooting. Hammer cocked with a thumb safety is not a good conceal carry weapon IMHO.

Nice looking piece though, hope it shoots well!!!

I love my carry gun. I have a S&W 38 hammerless snub nose revolver. I love it.

I was reading a story about a guy who carried a Glock in a retention holster that had the elastic band on top. Long story short, the elastic band managed to find its way onto the trigger and he shot himself in the leg when he unholstered the weapon!

Cocked and locked is less dangerous than no-safety designs like the Glock, man!

I can actually rack the slide with the Safety on, that's something a 1911 can't do, and 1911s are plenty safe enough for CCW. Very Happy

Why would you need a safety on a double action pistiol? Plus it is one of the few weapons out there with a decock lever......

Can you not carry yours in a IWB holster detox? LIke so:

Perhaps you missed the part where the guy shot himself in the ass.

I have a Glock 19. I personally don't carry it chambered. I have a dummy round in the chamber. (I only carry my revolver chambered. It has a 10lbs pull so I am not worried there.)However, I wouldn't feel unsafe having it chambered. I don't know how the guy got it caught on the trigger for one or how he didn't feel it when he did. I don't think that is a good holster though. The one Brules is showing I would feel more then comfortable carrying chambered. I think the proper holster is very important if you're going to carry. I love my Glock not having a safety on the side. I don’t want to think about a safety if I need my gun. Your trigger finger is your first and most important safety.

i'd have hell concealing it in any form of clothing that I would wear to work. i'll have a keltec or some other piss shooter while doing that and save the bigger guns for colder weather clothes.

I used to carry my Glock 17 under a t-shirt, in the summer. Winter clothes make it MUCH easier, but it's doable even in lighter summer clothes. Some of this may depend on the person's "shape", specifically near the concealed carry area. I have also carried my Tac-Four in the same way. Although I prefer to wear more when carrying it, because it's even thicker than the Glock.

Today:
Collared shirt untucked
Blue jeans
Big heavy coat

I think I'm good.
Except that whole, "working somewhere where it's illegal to carry" thing.
Maybe when they fix that I'll carry at work.
