Android App to lock down tablet?

Is there a GOOD app for androids that will allow you to lock down a tablet? My wife teaches a class for autistic kids that are super smart aspergers kids - and she wants to get a couple of tablets in otter boxes for them to use, but they are smart enough to mess them up if you let them.

Anything like that out there? Need to make it where all they can do is use apps.....lock em out of everthing else! Any ideas? Thanks!
