So, hadn't really looked at pricing.

Just did. WTF. $130 to get game and Premium?

I'm just gonna wait and see. I'm assuming we'll be able to get game + premium after launch for the normal price instead of the inflated amount they want for Ultimate. I don't really care about a Red Baron or Lawrence of Arabia pack. Razz

It is indeed pretty damn fun.

Has a significantly different feel from previous Battlefield games. AND I avoided the ridiculous pre-order bullshit and ended up getting standard for $45 from Greenmangaming.

Is it asking too much for developers to program true joystick support???? Hate flying with a mouse and if I wanted to play with a controller I wouldn't be on a PC...

I don't fly much in Battlefield, but I get it (I play Elite: Dangerous and some other flight sim stuff). If BF1 supports controllers, you should be able to use Xpadder to map joystick inputs to show up as controller inputs in the game.

I have read some post talking about using 3rd party software to map the inputs; however, we shouldn't have to do that. When they are creating games for consoles and porting them over for PC, guess I shouldn't expect much.

and I can see EA start attempting to ban accounts when they are using any 3rd party software to interact with the game.
