well just answered my question my p55 just fried so i suppose i need to find a AMD Phenom II X6 Thuban 1090T

when dealing with dead computer parts i shouldn't be surprised i guess

i actually got my old i7860 working on my evga p55 ftw 200 board

i wonder if a i7 860 or a Phenom II X6 Thuban 1090T is faster

Ah fair enough. The only other thing thats stands out is the 4TB Hitatchi drive. 5400 RPM may be a little slow for heavy media read / write use.the 7200 4tb nearly impossible to find sadly
